Raised in the wetlands and prairies of Wisconsin, Leah developed a love for the outdoors at a young age. While her love of theater and acting took her to Miami, Florida to study acting at the University of Miami she continued to find time to visit the Everglades and spend time in nature.

Her favorite thing about working at HAWKs is seeing all the little details children notice about the natural world and the way they delight in it.
