Amanda Garcia was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated from San Francisco State University. She is a substitute teacher for LAUSD.
In her spare time she enjoys long walks with her dogs, tending to her yard and reading a book. On the weekends you can catch her with her husband and kids at LA Historic Park or Kenneth Hahn.
Raised by outdoor enthusiasts, most of Amanda’s best childhood memories take place on a trail or campground. She knows her love for the outdoors is thanks to the exposure she got as a child, which is why she’s so excited to join HAWKS & be a small part of that exposure to nature for others!
