Alana was born and raised in Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where she majored in Theatre and Radio/TV/Film. She moved to Los Angeles 8 years ago and fell in love with hiking in these beautiful mountains.

She started babysitting for families in the neighborhood and, in her free time, would go hiking or take the kids hiking. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her amazing dog, Oso, who also loves hiking!
